Week 2 and I am still in it!  I have really been enjoying taking my camera everywhere with me. None of these photos would have existed if it weren't for this project.. For that, I am thankful :)

Headed home from our weekend celebrating with some gorgeous morning light

Finally back to the rountine after the holiday break. This winter the girls and I often go shopping while Emery is at school. I am a total sucker for Target, so we go there ALOT for "groceries" haha

When Beauty & the Beast are actually the same person you have Eleanor Lola... this photo captures her essence to a T. She is the girliest girl and a tom-boy all rolled up into the most perfect little person in the world.

These two LOVE books... today we went to the library and played while Em was at school. They picked out the coolest Dino book to bring home

It is rare that my ALL BOY 4 year old sits still for this long of his own accord. His school is hosting it's own auto show next week and each child is to make their own car to show off and relax in while enjoying a drive-in movie :)
Naturally, my child is not satisfied with any old "car". He decided that he wants to build a boat. He has been in his room for quite a long time drawing up the plans. I'm excited to see where his imagination goes with this one :)

Cousin time.
We worked out in the yard for a bit after FINALLY getting some decent weather (22 degrees and partly sunny).
When we came inside and the kids were talking about how cold their bottoms were and that it felt funny to sit on them. The term "butt store" was used more than once because they wanted to go there and get new ones

Putting the finishing touches on Valhalla (named after his favorite vessel)... All ready for the preschool auto show on Wednesday!

three.sixty.five. Week 1

This year I am trying to tackle a couple of different personal projects that I have been wanting to do for quite some time.  Here is the first project.. It's simple. One photo, everyday for the whole year.  I am excited and nervous at the same time.  I hope that I can stick with it all year... I am already LOVING it.  <3

Eleanor kept jumping up and down and falling on purpose! She was sooooo excited for Christmas Round Two at Nana's house.... We ate our traditional black-eyed peas, cabbage, boiled potatoes and short ribs and had a great day with the fam to kick off the New Year!

2 | 365
Iona is in Peppa Pig heaven playing with her new little friends

3 | 365
Em is (most of the time) the BEST big brother in the world. He is teaching Iona how to use the new "puter" that she got for Christmas... They were watching a video of Godzilla v T-Rex which they both thought was hilarious

4 | 365
I told him "we are going to do something fun today, can you guess what it is"... this is his thinking face  We ended up meeting Aunt Tammy and Braxton at Jungle Java

5 | 365
We have a morning routine... While momma makes coffee and breakfast for the kids, these 3 enjoy some t.v. time. Today Wild Kratts was the choice. I remember laying on the floor watching the tube with Tam when we were little. It must be an important part of childhood  All snuggled up in Great Great Nana's blanket

6 | 365
Waiting for Grandmama. Someone is 'patiently' waiting for his weekend stay at Grandmama & Grandpapa's house

7 | 365
Larry and I celebrate 8 years of marriage on January 9th! With all of the kids being spoiled rotten with Grandparents, we were able to sneak away for the weekend. We went back to the town where we got married and enjoyed some time to ourselves. We ate, drank, talked about the kids, the new house and enjoyed some "us" time

First. Ever. Blog. Post.

I am not going to lie... the idea of starting a blog has been daunting to me... I don't know why.. I love reading other people's.  Maybe because even though I love telling stories, I'm horrible with words? That is one of the things that I love about photography the most.  Storytelling.  I want to tell my story, your story, heck... everyone's story haha :)      Here goes nothing......
